Alisha is one of the outstanding sports person studying in PUC I year (Science) @  St. Aloysious College Mangalore.  She developed her sports skills at the very early stage while she was studying in St. Josephs School in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.  She is also a good athletic and esp. participated in long jump at various levels and has won successfully.

But when the really opportunity came when she joined St. Lourdes School (CBSC) in Mangalore wherein she participated in various athletic games and especially during Annul Sports Day she participated and won in many track categories such as Race, Long Jump & High Jump.  At the same time she was selected to play Hand-Ball game for Inter-School Competitions and thereafter state level and to participate at the National Level representing Karnataka.

Here are some of her achievements representing various teams in Mangalore paying Hand-Ball Game:

won the Dasara handball state level tournament held in Mysore,
Selected and participated in women’s national level handball meet held in Bhopal.
won district level u-19 handball meet
runner-up in state level under 19 handball tournament
Currently she is selected to represent Karnataka in under 19 category handball national level to be held in Delhi 20th-24th Dec this year.

Her parents are thankful to God Almighty for the graces and talents she has bestowed upon their daughter and look forward to her achievement in Delhi in December.

Her mother Apoline is her sole inspiration and supporter along with her brother Alister Mendonsa.  She also had support of all family members in Pangala and Bantwal.
