SSVP Of Holy Rosary Church, Kundapur celebrates Silver Jubilee

The Kundapur Conference of Society of St Vincent De Paul celebrated its silver jubilee on Sunday, September 24, 2006. At this auspicious occasion the newly built Silver jubilee memorial SSVP meeting room was inaugurated by the Vicar Forane and the Parish Priest of Kundapur parish Rev. Fr Antony Lobo.

Kundapur conference has 18 active energetic members doing works of charity under the direction of its spiritual director Rev. Antony Lobo. It has 6 adopted families whom the members visit regularly once a month. Other than this, the members pay visit to sick, old and lone people without the barrier of caste and creed, and assist them in their needs. The conference financially helps the poor girls for their marriage, vocational and professional students for higher education.

The conference president Bro Everest Rebello and vice president Sr Winifred Fernandes organized the event and the Area Council president Captain Joseph Fernandes was present on the occasion
