Mangalore , February 2, 2010 : Air India is planning to start flights from Mangalore to Saudi Arabia. An appeal was submitted to Air India CEO in this regards. Director of AMACO group of institutions Mohamad Asif was assured of extending flights to Saudi if direct flight isn’t possible. The flight going to Gulf will be extended to Saudi.

There is good response for Air India flights from Mangalore to Gulf. There is no shortage for aeroplanes, but shortage of pilots, is the problem being faced said CEO. Prior to this talks will be held with Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, Union law minister M Veerappa Moily, AICC chief secretary Oscar Fernandes.
