Mangalore, February 7: The requests submitted by the primary school teachers will be taken into consideration said district minister in-charge Krishna J Palemar. He participated as the chief guest in a conference held by the Karnataka State primary school teachers association on Saturday.
Dakshina Kannada district is leading in education field. The role aided schools is very important in giving quality education in the rural areas. Karnataka Costal Development Authority B Nagaraj inaugurated the conference.
Some of the legal amendments made by the Government have lead to some problems among the aided schools. We will work with the people’s representatives to fulfill the demands of the aided school he said.
MLA Ganesh Karnik, the president of Karnataka State Aided Primary School Hucche Gowda and others participated as the chief guests.
Demands are
*The ratio of students and teachers in aided schools should be 1:25
*The extra teachers who are in aided schools should be appointed in Government schools
*Training for teachers should be kept from 13th to 25th April as it affects the academic activities of the students.
